St.Martin High School Head Football Coach
Tupelo High School Head Football Coach
DeSoto Central High School Head Football Coach
Lewisburg High School Head Football Coach

I'm a current student at the University of Southern Mississippi. I am a junior who has my head on straight and aiming for the top. My next goal is to take my praxis and pass it on the first try, that would really boost my confidence up. My current Grade Point Average is above a 3.o and i hope to keep it like that. My goal is to graduate from here by summer 2011. By fall 2011, I plan on being a coach at some one high school and I hope and know I can benefit them.

These jobs are some jobs that are available right now. These four schools caught my eye because they need head football coaches and I believe i can provide that for them. They require you to have a valid teaching licenses. These schools are not very close to my home but some times a person have to make sacrifices. I really want to be a head coach so i will sacrifice moving out of the small city of Raleigh.

Next, my skills as a three sport athlete is very beneficial. I was the captain of my high school basketball team where we were District Champions and were we advanced to the South State tournament. We ended our season with a 29-5 record which is very good. I became the district defensive MVP and I received other awards from my high school. I was also a starting defensive back on the football team for three years. I also ran track for four years were I received a lot of awards in Long jump, triple jump, and high jump. I am now a volunteer assistant basketball coach at Raleigh High School, and next year hopefully i can volunteer to be someones assistant defensive back football coach.

Finally, I believe that my skills as a defensive back and as a three sport athelete can benefit Lewisburg High school football team. I would use my skills that i was taught throughout my time at Raleigh High School and my skills from Coach Jeremiah Keyes.

Subject: INCORRECT PAYROLL CHECKS
I have been reviewing the the situation involving the errors in the computer files dealing with our companies payroll, and I think we both can agree we have a problem that needs to be addressed. After our meeting I put a good bit of thought and consideration towards this matter and reviewed the time sheets and time tickets. I have found 35 errors out of the 37 entries. This leads me back to my original statement that it is clear cut that the majority of the errors were made by your clerks. Due to the corporate hierarchy it is my department that gets blamed for these mistakes for correctly copying the faulty time tickets prepared by your clerks. You and I discussed the requirement of my computer operators of comparing their entries against the time sheets from which your clerks prepare. This has proved to be time consuming and I will not hire additional employees to monitor the mistakes made by yours. It is clear we have to come to a middle ground here to keep both of our bosses happy. Unfortunately my people do not have the time to check and correct errors made, it is only their job to copy and enter them into the system. I would recommend that you instruct your clerks to carefully review their work before submitting it to the computer operators. In this letter I have revised the body of the text to be a little more personal and try to help explain the importance of why his personnel needs to double check their work before submitting it. The first thing I did was change the opening lines. The very first two sentences were very abrasive and could set the reader in a defensive mind set. This is counter productive and needed to be changed. I tried to extend the shortness of each sentence by expanding on the subject being discussed. This, I felt, took away from the snappyness of the letter, while it still holds a forceful, yet polite, tone. I didn't feel this letter needed to be incredibly polite or pleasing because in a company mistakes in payroll like that would not be accepted and both of our jobs would be on the line. Due to the nature of the letter I felt the tone needed to be forceful, yet polite, so things could quickly change.

I finally received the chance to work with my group. My group consist of two guys and one girl/lady. As of right now, I'm lost as far as what we suppose to be doing, but the rest of group is sort of filling me in. We are not going to use the method of letting everyone read every sentence on our proposal. We have put our trust in one person which I thought was a great ideal. The first week that we were suppose to meet none of my group members showed up so that put a little fear in my heart, but now that they are I'm very confident that we will do a marvelous job on our group project which is due on the 8th of December.

Well we decided to do our on Adobe Illustrator which is something that was new to me. Adobe is something that we learned how to use on a mac computer now we are putting together a project to show others how to use it. The two members of my group decided to do most of the work because they knew more about it than i did, but at the end of the section I plan to know alot about Adobe to.

I have the honors of being the one to present how to work adobe out of my group of three. If you have never used a Mac computer as a class we will teach whoever want to use a mac how to use one.

A brochure is something that i had to do at my High School. Brochures were always fun to do because it was usually done as a group project, and there is not many teachers that let there kids do group projects because there is usually one kid doing all the work. Well we were asked to look up some brochures dealing with our major well my major was sports coaching and i found a real interesting brochure dealing with basketball. The website is www.basketballsbest.com. This website shows a lot of different things every basketball coach would be interested in like how to get more open three pointers, how to get open lay ups, and how to stop your opponent. This brochure also give a lot of offers to watch how these things work. they have DVDs, books, and different clinics. Also on the brochure it show some plays ran by big time basketball colleges like Kansas, West Virgina, and etc. This brochure also had a lot of fault because it had no pictures of actual athletes and it was almost to much writing to read but it still sort of caught my attention
The next website i found was www.5starbball.com. This brochure was amazing also it had a lot of pictures of people actually playing basketball. This camp shows how to make your player into a five star player which is a very great basketball player a lot of professional basketball players were discovered here like D. Wade, Lebron James, Micheal Jordan, and Kevin Durant. This Brochure was outstanding. Those are somethings I would make sure to add to my brochure the next time I do one, famous names.

My major is sports coaching. Among all things i could have decided to pursue and my life coaching stood out the most. If you ask any coach whats the most important thing in the field of coaching, far as trying to get a job, it would be a coaching philosophy. Coaches philosophy is something I would like to discuss today with my audience, and i will try to explain and discuss this to the best of my abilities. Coaching Philosophy was the first and the only paper I have written since I been at the University of Southern Mississippi. My coaching philosophy was not very hard because i have grown up around some wonderful coach, participating and being a great athlete in every sport I participated in,like Coach Durwood Anderson of Raleigh, Coach Jermiah Keyes of Taylorsville, and Coach Ron Norman of Wayne County.
My Coaching Philosophy was talking about the ways i would coach, the way i would carry myself, and how i would make the team successful. I would coach with a commanding voice that would probably put fear in there hearts therefore they would respect me at all times. Another thing i talked about is how i would make all my fellow athletes be physically in shape. This would mean working out everyday even over the summer, eating right all the time no matter what comes up. I also discuss some of the most important facts about football and that is showing good attitudes, promoting physical fitness, and compassion for teammates and the opposing teams.
The purpose of my paper was to show some things you need to have to be a coach and to show some reasons coaches have impacts on younger people life. Things i would change if i could would be to put more stuff about maintaining a good a grade point average and how school comes before sports. Another thing I would talk about is negligence do to all the court cases getting field on coaches for example if you had a football player fall out on the field and you have no medical assistant around in you really don't know what to do in the player die, so now your left with this on your hand in the parents would take you to court for murder in you would probably be found guilty for more information about cases like this login to www.ajc.com. Another thing I would have changed was using harsh words like "pounding into a players head" , but at the end of the day i would still love to be a big time coach and my coaching philosophy will get better the more i hang with other coaches

First Blog

Hi, my name is Spencer Moncrief. I'm a transfer from Jones County Junior College. I graduated from JCJC with an Associates Degree in Elementary Education, but when i made it to USM I changed my major to Sports Coaching. I am now sort of like an assistant coach at a high school near; therefore, when i graduate from hear it would be easier for me to get a head coaching job somewhere because of my experience that I have already encountered.
An academic document would be something that you would want to have taken a lot of time on and corrected. You would probably want someone else to read over it and check it. It should be written or typed in paragraph form with a title and your name somewhere around the top of the paper. A public documented paper should be fit for your audience or whomever is reading it, so it shouldn't be extremely long because long papers or paragraphs could bore your audience.
I find research papers difficult because there extremely long and you have to try real hard not to plagiarize or leave important things out. I would love to figure out away i could enjoy writing and make the best out of everything i write.
